Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about protecting your voice identity with VoiceSeal.

📣 General Questions

What is VoiceSeal?

VoiceSeal is a voice identity protection platform that helps creators, celebrities, and enterprises protect their voices from unauthorized AI cloning. We provide voice enrollment, real-time detection of synthetic voice clones, and licensing tools to monetize authorized voice usage.

How does voice cloning detection work?

VoiceSeal uses advanced AI to create a unique "voiceprint" from your enrolled voice samples. When audio is analyzed, we compare it against your voiceprint and use anti-spoofing technology to detect synthetic artifacts that indicate AI-generated audio. Our system can detect clones from major platforms like ElevenLabs, Play.ht, and others.

Who should use VoiceSeal?

VoiceSeal is designed for:

  • Content Creators - YouTubers, podcasters, voice actors
  • Celebrities & Public Figures - Protect against deepfake fraud
  • Enterprises - Secure executive communications
  • TTS Platforms - Verify consent for voice cloning
  • Legal Firms - Authenticate voice evidence
Is my voice data safe with VoiceSeal?

Absolutely. We take security seriously. Your voice is converted into encrypted mathematical embeddings - we never store raw audio files. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit, and we've built our consent, retention, and deletion workflows to support BIPA, GDPR, and CCPA requirements. You can request deletion of your data at any time.

🎤 Enrollment & Detection

How do I enroll my voice?

Voice enrollment takes about 2 minutes:

  • Create an account and provide biometric consent
  • Record 5-10 voice samples (30 seconds each)
  • Our AI processes your voice into a secure voiceprint
  • Your voice is now protected and monitored
What's the difference between REAL and SYNTHETIC detection?

REAL VOICE means our system detected natural human speech patterns, acoustic characteristics, and no synthetic artifacts. The audio appears to be genuinely recorded from a human.

SYNTHETIC means our system detected AI-generated artifacts such as unnatural spectral patterns, missing micro-variations, or signatures from known TTS systems. This indicates the audio was likely created using voice cloning technology.

How accurate is the detection?

VoiceSeal achieves over 95% accuracy in detecting synthetic voice clones. Our system is continuously trained on the latest voice cloning technologies to stay ahead of evolving threats. Detection happens in under 50ms, enabling real-time protection.

Can VoiceSeal detect any voice clone?

We detect clones from all major platforms including ElevenLabs, Play.ht, Resemble.ai, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Polly, and others. Our detection improves continuously as new cloning methods emerge. However, no system is 100% perfect - we recommend combining VoiceSeal with other security measures for critical applications.

💰 Licensing & Monetization

How can I monetize my voice?

VoiceSeal enables voice licensing through our platform. You can:

  • Set licensing terms for TTS platforms to use your voice
  • Earn royalties when your voice is used commercially
  • Control which platforms and use cases are permitted
  • Receive automated payouts via Stripe
What's the revenue share?

Creators receive 85% of all licensing revenue generated from their voice. VoiceSeal retains 15% to cover platform operations, detection services, and payment processing. Payouts are processed monthly via Stripe with a $50 minimum payout threshold.

Can I revoke licensing permissions?

Yes, you have full control. You can revoke any licensing agreement at any time through your dashboard. Once revoked, platforms must stop using your voice within 30 days per our terms of service.

💻 Technical & API

Do you offer an API?

Yes! Our REST API allows platforms to integrate voice verification and detection directly into their workflows. API features include voice enrollment, real-time detection, licensing verification, and webhook notifications. See our API documentation for details.

What audio formats are supported?

VoiceSeal supports all common audio formats including MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, OGG, and WebM. For best results, we recommend 16kHz sample rate or higher. Maximum file size is 50MB per upload.

How fast is the detection API?

Our detection API processes audio in under 50ms, enabling real-time protection for live streams and phone calls. Batch processing is also available for analyzing large audio libraries.
