1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using VoiceSeal's services ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our Services.
These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Services, including our website (voiceseal.io), APIs, and related applications.
2. Description of Services
VoiceSeal provides voice identity protection services, including:
- Voice Enrollment: Creating secure voiceprints from audio samples
- Voice Detection: Identifying synthetic voices and unauthorized clones
- Watermarking: Embedding invisible identifiers in licensed audio
- Licensing Management: Facilitating authorized use of enrolled voices
- Enforcement Tools: Generating evidence for takedown requests and legal actions
3. Account Registration
To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use our Services.
4. Voice Enrollment and Biometric Consent
Voice enrollment requires explicit consent for biometric data collection. By enrolling your voice, you:
- Confirm you are the owner of the voice being enrolled, or have legal authority to enroll it
- Consent to the collection and processing of your voice biometric data
- Acknowledge that voiceprints will be used for identity verification and protection
- Understand you can withdraw consent and request deletion at any time
Enrolling someone else's voice without their consent is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination and legal action.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Enroll voices without proper authorization or consent
- Use the Services to create unauthorized voice clones or deepfakes
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features
- Use the Services for fraudulent, illegal, or harmful purposes
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
- Resell or redistribute the Services without authorization
- Transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
6. Intellectual Property
Our Rights
VoiceSeal and its licensors own all rights in the Services, including software, algorithms, designs, and documentation. Our trademarks may not be used without written permission.
Your Rights
You retain ownership of your voice and any audio you submit. By enrolling, you grant us a limited license to process your voice data solely to provide the Services.
Feedback
Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide may be used by us without obligation to you.
7. Licensing and Revenue Share
For voice licensing services:
- You set the terms under which your voice may be licensed
- We facilitate connections between voice owners and licensees
- Revenue from licensed usage is split per your plan (e.g., 70% to voice owner)
- Payments are processed monthly for balances exceeding $50
- You are responsible for any applicable taxes on earnings
8. Fees and Payment
Certain Services require payment. By subscribing, you agree to:
- Pay all fees according to your selected plan
- Provide accurate billing information
- Authorize recurring charges for subscription plans
Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or stated in our refund policy. We may change pricing with 30 days' notice.
9. Detection Services Disclaimer
Our detection services are designed to identify synthetic voices with high accuracy, but:
- No detection system is 100% accurate
- Results are probabilistic (confidence scores), not definitive judgments
- False positives and false negatives may occur
- Detection results should not be the sole basis for legal action without additional verification
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- VOICESEAL PROVIDES SERVICES "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND
- WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
- OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO FEES PAID IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability, so these limits may not apply to you.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VoiceSeal, its affiliates, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
- Your use of the Services
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your infringement of third-party rights
- Enrollment of voices without proper authorization
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services:
- For violation of these Terms
- For non-payment of fees
- If required by law
- At our discretion with 30 days' notice
Upon termination, you may request deletion of your voice data. Certain provisions survive termination, including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and indemnification.
13. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Services will be resolved through:
- Good faith negotiation
- If unsuccessful, binding arbitration under AAA rules
- Arbitration will be conducted in Delaware, USA
- Class action waiver: disputes must be brought individually
14. General Provisions
- Governing Law: These Terms are governed by Delaware law
- Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement
- Severability: Invalid provisions will be modified to the minimum extent necessary
- Waiver: Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver
- Assignment: You may not assign your rights without our consent
15. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or platform notice at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
